The Lord-Lieutenant presented no less than 6 Queens Scout awards to individuals from 5th Greenock and District Scout Group at the West Burn Church Greenock on 5 Mar 2020. HM the Queen is Patron of the Scouts Association and it was her great grandfather King Edward VII who instituted the then Kings Scout Awards in 1909. The Lord-Lieutenant passed on his warmest congratulations to everyone receiving the award and added that this was not only a fabulous individual  achievement but also in the notably large number of Queens Scout awards being presented from 5th Greenock.
