
Welcome to the website of the Lieutenancy of Renfrewshire
Colonel Peter McCarthy, pictured, was appointed His Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Renfrewshire in March 2019 on the retiral of his predecessor Mr Guy Clark CVO JP.
His first and foremost duty is to represent His Majesty the King within the Lieutenancy and uphold the dignity of the Crown. He also seeks to encourage a spirit of co-operation in the voluntary services and benevolent organisations as well as taking a very active interest in the commercial and social life of the Lieutenancy.

Renfrewshire Lieutenancy Area Map
The area covered by the Lieutenancy stretches from Glasgow going west as far as Gourock & Wemyss Bay.
It includes the three Local authority areas of East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire and Inverclyde.
