Two new English Oak trees were planted in Rouken Gen Park in East Renfrewshire, the first in memory of the Late Queen Elizabeth II and the second to mark the Coronation of King Charles III – the old and the new reign coming together in new planting for future generations to enjoy! Children rom the Glenwood family centre who had been involved in making compost from the floral tributes that were laid on the death of the Queen in 2022 came along to support Provost Mary Montague and the Lord-Lieutenant in planting the trees,
