An outstanding haul of 5 Kings Scouts Awards were presented by the Lord-Lieutenant at 1st Gourock Scouts on Friday evening. Four of the awards went to very impressive former pupils of the local Clydeview Academy, where the Lord-Lieutenant attended the opening of a new Health and Wellbeing Hub earlier in the day. 1st Gourock meet at the Coppermine Community Centre at the top end of Gourock, which they also run on behalf of the local authority – an interesting community model!
